This dog box kit is a direct replacement for the standard gear set as used in all 4 synchromesh gear boxes (Note: the donor gearbox MUST be a 4 synchro unit). The gears themselves are of straight cut form with various ratios available. It facilitates a quicker more precise gear change with none of the inherent problems of synchromesh engagement especially seen in race conditions. Rod boxes only.
All above gear sets comprise of mainshaft assembly and a laygear cluster both with needle roller bearings.
Note: These gearsets can only be fitted to a 4 synchro gear case and must use an 'A+' layshaft.
The kit includes special selector forks.
